Calling all Junior Hammers! We know how fun it is to win cool stash and experiences, so we’re launching this brand-new page on which we’ll host regular competitions for all our junior fans to get involved in. Check back here regularly for the most up to date competitions and exciting giveaways.
COMPETITION TIME!
West Ham United has launched a special competition for budding sports journalists.
Junior Hammers are asked to write a match report on their favourite game this season and the winner will receive a 2023/24 West Ham United home shirt *(T&Cs apply).
If you want to be in with a chance of winning, simply follow the steps below:
- In under 500 words, write a match report from your favourite match this season!
- Once you have proofread your report, you can submit your words in the text box below.
- Cross your fingers and hope that you’re selected as the lucky winner. The winner will be notified via their parent or guardian contact information.
Think about the words and language you could use to describe the atmosphere and the key moments in the match, including goals, chances, injuries and substitutes. You might also mention the attendance and the man of the match. Supporters can find FA advice on how to write a match report here. The competition will close at 11.59pm on Monday 6 May 2024. Only submissions entered before this time will be eligible for the prize.
